Schneider Electric TeSys GV5 and GV6 TeSys Giga MCB Motor Circuit Breakers.
The TeSys range of MCB Motor circuit breakers GV5 and GV6, designed to protect motors from overloads, short circuits, phase unbalance and phase loss.
TeSys GV5 and GV6 are now part of the TeSys Giga range of circuit breakers. TeSys GV5 and GV6 are coordinated with TeSys Giga contactors. The TeSys Giga motor circuit breakers will give you even better protection and are perfect for demanding applications, combining advanced electronics and up to date electromechanical technology. Easily installed thanks to universal Screw fixing plus the automatic compensation for temperature changes and international standards compliance this motor circuit breaker provides excellent protection.
TeSys Giga GV5 and GV 6 MCB Features.
- Choice of 4 x current ratings – 150 A, 220 A, 320 A, 500 A.
- Advanced Micrologic trip unit (overload, short circuit, Phase loss and unbalance protection).
- Adjustable overload protection (Ir): 50 to 100% x In, includes trip class selection (Class 5, 10 or 20)
- Adjustable Short-time protection threshold (Isd): 5 to 13 x In with fixed time delay
- Short-Circuit instantaneous protection (Ii): 15 x In (max rating of the trip unit)
- Front LED indications: Green LED for pre-alarm before event of fault and Red LED for motor operation
- Suitable for isolation, as per IEC standards
- Control by direct rotary handle as standard, by door-mounted extended rotary handle as option
- Connections: busbars/ cables with lugs
